Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to Manager Airside Operations-General
Manage Imports Breakdown teams to control, coordinate and monitor the daily shift work force to achieve set KPI and sustain the performance effectively to ensure all incoming shipments for Doha terminating are ready for inspection and delivery; and all transiting shipment are connected for flight preparation.
Maintain a safe and secure working environment by ensuring teams-staff adhere to the agreed processes and procedures.
Ensure mandatory training requirements are met to the agreed training matrix and staff attends these courses as scheduled as to not affect operational activity.
Control to reduce handling irregularities within the terminal on all fronts both in Bulk and Workstation areas by ensuring teams are scanning properly and locating shipments accurately on time.
Plan and arrange suitable resources and equipment to perform tasks based on targets and set KPIs.
Review and develop processes and procedures appropriate and applicable for Imports Breakdown team, including shift reports and performance matrix for gap analysis to address concerns for continuous improvement; adding the enhancement of the Duty Officer and Supervisors on-time reporting in addressing, resolving and escalating concerns and issues.
