Once trained 32 salespeople of our hotels with over $175 million budget. Sales increased by an average of 46.3% after 3 months compared to same time the previous year..
Conducted a marketing audit for one of our hotels. The hotel budget for that year was $25.7 million hotel. The hotel increased its sales by $521,000 the first year and cut operational costs by 14% at the same time.
Developed and helped implement a marketing plan for my hotel for a new market segment. First-year sales were $7 million - twice that of a new segment introduced in the past. Led a project group responsible for the hotel cost maximization. Removing all non-value-adds, in one year, over $4.7 million was saved - goes straight into the bottom line!

Responsible for driving local marketing and online distribution solutions that will improve the online revenues and booking numbers. - This was a brand new position within Starwood and I was appointed the very first e-commerce executive for the Sheraton Lagos Hotel.
For the very first time the hotel web content (photography and descriptions) of the following on-line channels remain accurate and brand compliant: - Starwood branded website, Third party sites, destination specific & local tourist board websites. Lead and developed the hotel’s Starguest CRM tool - actively driving incremental revenue through creative sales and marketing promotions.
Identified and evaluated new third party website opportunities to increase internet production and drive on-line market share. Increased understanding of on-line booking patterns by analyzing factors such as demographics, Geographic, search words used, search engines utilized as well as tracking productivity through on-line channels.
