JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Installation, commissioning, Integration of Fire and gas devices (Building Fire Alarm System-TYCO, HONEYWELL) Gas suppression system, Deluge system, HSSD, control panel (PLC, DCS, ESD, F&G), Telecom Devices inside control room /substation.

Co-ordinates all Supervision; installation, servicing, calibrating, testing of instrumentation and control systems in the project.

Review and comment Engineering drawing, documents for field instrumentation and control systems like Instrument specification Instrument Installation, Instrument Hook-ups, cable schedule/Route, wiring diagram, P&ID, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, and PCS control narrative.

Review of Cause and Effect diagrams, Functional specification of required Process Control & Safety systems.

Review all documents like ITP’s, QCP’s,

Interact with QA/QC for quality issue strictly ensures compliance with Company’s ISO Quality procedures.

Coordinate, plan and supervise all Instrument project activities in assigned area, conforming to all HSE policies and procedures.

Maintain good technical coordination with PMT, client, contractor, vendor and other representatives for routine work.

Ensure that instrument works complied with project specifications, company procedures, method statements, quality assurance and control documents.

Co-operate with and advice Subcontractor to correct work plans in case of engineering drawing or material availability problems or change work required

Preparation & Implementation of internal completion schedule and weekly look ahead.

Manage and supervises the Instrument construction activities at the site on a day-to-day basis.

Responsible for calibration, installation of field instrument and ensuring the field instrument is according to P&ID.

Supporting the contractor for the preparation of loop package and providing all the necessary engineering document & drawings to ensure the loop folder is in compliance with the standards & procedure.

Carry out Site Acceptance Test. Loop test/ Functional test with Service Engineer and the Subcontractor.

Coordinate with project system vendors for the commissioning of the system and providing necessary support.

Ensure that modifications Works are recorded on ‘As-built’ drawing after Site Acceptance Test and Loop test.
