EDUCATION

Major: Aerospace Engineering

Minor: Robotics & Mechatronics

University of Toronto, Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering Engineering Science 2018 - 2022 Relevant Courses: Classical Mechanics (with laboratories), Structures and Materials, Introduction to Computer Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Electric Circuits (with laboratories), Materials Science, Linear Algebra, Calculus 1 & 2 &3, Vector Calculus and Fluid Mechanics (with laboratories), Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer (with laboratories), Digital and Computer Systems (with laboratories), Fundamentals of Biomedical Engineering (with laboratories), Praxis 3 (Mechatronics), Electromagnetism, Statistics & Probability, Quantum & Thermal Physics. 373 Front Street West 647-***-**** ****.*****@****.********.** ESC203(PRAXIS 3)

- This course required students to integrate the design, technical, and complementary knowledge learned in the first two years of Engineering Science in a fully-functional, full-term design project.

- The assigned project was to design and build an autonomous solution for plugging in an electric car charger.

- I designed a Cartesian robot with two other team members that moves in the X, Y, and Z directions using linear motion. ESC102 (PRAXIS 2)

- This course required the students to complete an in-depth design challenge that spans opportunity finding and framing, and concept development through prototyping.

- I created a digitalized distribution system with three other team members for the Sanctuary (a community for the homeless). The system has a user interface and automatically dispenses harm reduction kits, whereas the old system requires the nurses to distribute the harm reduction kits by hand.

SCHOOL PROJECTS

CERTIFICATIONS (COURSERA)

- This course is about the fundamentals of a satellite communication system and how it is built.

- I learned how satellites are designed, categories of satellite services, types of orbits, how a satellite digital communication system works and various communication techniques, channel coding, link budgets, and networking services.

Introduction to Satellite Communications by Institut Mines - Télécom

Robotics: Aerial Robotics by University of

Pennsylvania

- This course teaches how one can create autonomous micro aerial vehicles in environments filled with obstacles. It introduces the mechanics of flight and design of a quadrotor in three – dimensional environments.

VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE

- As the only full-day assistant for the Biomedical Major, I was responsible for ensuring that the Biomedical Systems Engineering Speaker Dr. Aviv Gladman was having a good time and got to events on time.

- I helped events run smoothly and interacted with attendees to ensure they were getting the most out of these very informative events.

Full Day Assistant at the Engineering Science Education Conference, January 2020

Volunteer at the West Toronto Support Services, August 2019

- Socialized with the elderly and prepared equipment for crafts, exercises and games.

Good Shepherd Ministries, December 2017

- Sorted out for the people in need.

EXPERIENCE & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

- Acted as a resource for students, answering their questions about extra-curricular, student supports, etc.

- Developed and promoted community through social events and academic skills. Tracked interactions with students and assess sessions through feedback surveys and interaction logs.

Engineering Campus Experience Officer at the University of Toronto, August 2019 - April 2020 Space Engineering & Exploration Competition by Robotics Space Exploration, March 2019 Business Development Team Member of the Toronto Students Advancing Aerospace, September 2018 - April 2019

- Promoted aerospace through events where students got to interact with professionals from the industry.

- Was responsible for reaching out to aerospace institutions and design teams in the Greater Toronto Area that may want to booth at our events and update and make sponsorship packages.

- I was given the task of creating an obstacle avoiding robot in less than 8 hours with three other team members.

- Used equipment such as a breadboard, DC motor, Arduino, sensors, jumper wires, and more to assemble it. Then, we competed against other teams where our robots had to go through a path full of obstacles.

- Excelled my engineering and programming skills.

Member of the Rube Goldberg Committee at Ryerson University, September 2017 - April 2018

- Had a mission of building a fully functional Rube Goldberg Machine for the engineering month

- Improved hands-on skills while learning how to integrate engineering principles and theoretical concepts into real-life. Member of the University of Toronto Aerospace Team (UTAT), Rocketry Division, August 2020 - Present

- Help design and build a hybrid rocket that will be launched in 2021.

- Help conduct aerodynamics calculations with other team members.

- Write a program for finding the most optimal nose cone design for a liquid rocket. Structures Engineer at the University of Toronto Hyperloop Team (UTHT), August 2020 - Present

- Research, design and simulate aerodynamic shell and frame concepts, and manufacture big key components of the hyperloop pod.

- Conduct vibrational analysis calculations for the shell. HIGHLIGHTS
