Mechanical Design (Project Trainee), TVS Motors Pvt Ltd Jan 2017 - May 2019

• Worked with a cross functional design team to evaluate suspension and braking, draft 3D models on MATLAB to address manufacturing necessities and utilized FMEA to address solutions to component failures.

• Documentation of prototype development with aid of APQP procedures adhering to ISO standards. Interacted and worked with vendors across to India and present a BOM for new components.

• Lead a team to work on a co-dependant project on Characterisation of Doped Copper Coil by Recrystallisation & Implementing Artificial Intelligence to Optimize BLDC Motor for Speed & Endurance. Product Design and Manufacturing Intern, Gowra Aerospace Dec 2017 - Jan 2018

• Worked with the design team to draft an acceptable model from the quotations from clients. Solid modelling and analysis was done on Solidworks, structural sizing optimisation was done on Matlab with mass and shear as constraints allow stiffness and strength to improve.

• Made a 3D model blog with the master process chart and directed towards work station to initiate CNC machining on G-codes and M-Codes. Performed mechanical and thermal analysis using FEA methods. All the designing was done adhering to rules GD&T stated in the quotation. Field Services Intern, Mercedes Benz June 2017 – July 2017

• Perform root cause analysis and failure tests for brake modules. Install and synchronize Merc brake sensor. Check wheel hub and rotor for accurate screw pressure. Re-evaluate suspension and traction system electronic components. Created models for custom brackets and mounts to hold electrical wiring on MATLAB.

• Designed universal coupling joint that connect steering column with wheel rim on push rod suspension system.

• Finish the process chart and report results for each vehicle passing. Authorise vehicle clearance to move into next workstation.

Product Designer, Path Group May 2020 - Present

• Serving as Designer and Manager responsible for product, operations and strategy across the company.

• Designed prototypes and modelled on software.

• Directly managed design team spanning CAD/CAM, Ansys, graphic, illustration, industrial packaging, design prototyping, and user research. Led multidisciplinary teams to help define long-term product vision and strategy for engaging, assistive experiences for multiple products. PROJECT

Team Lead, Berkeley Hyperloop Aug 2019 – May 2020

• My technical work was designing, optimisation by using Quasi-Newton method to obtain robust designs and manufacturing of a scaled levitation system for the hyperloop pod.

• Designed ladder frame type chassis of Alloy 6061-T6 while linear guides acting as transverse ribs on Solidworks and optimized using Solidthinking INSPIRE. Manufactured whole frame through casting, laser cutting, 3D printing, TIG welding and drilling.

• Researched on carbon fibre sandwich panels for body of the pod and computed stress-strain analysis curve to sustain very high speeds. Performed structural and thermal analysis on COMSOL to prevent frame fracture at speeds close to 150kmph.

Product Design, Team Lead, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Aug 2019 - Dec 2019

• My work included designing user flows, wire frames and prototyping. Work closely with stakeholders to consider constraints and trade-offs. Conducted user research and usability testing. Utilised design methods and tools to consider the social, economic and environmental implications of the products, services or systems

• We developed a product that leverages AI/ML increasing the operating efficiency & sustainability of company.

• Helped KLM achieve RobecoSAM Silver Class 2019 in CSA and reduce its environmental carbon footprint. LEADERSHIP AND AWARDS

• Awarded with Best Student of the Year for “Excellence in Quality Control” by National Institute of Quality and Reliability, India

• Honorary invitee at FISITA World Automotive Congress in recognition of “Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement in Automotive Technology”.

• Founded “Centre of Excellence” at SRM University leading innovation towards 4th industrial revolution

• Lead a team to participate in Airbus – Fly your Ideas competition to build a cargo drone

• Team Lead for 2 years for SAE Efficycle competition to build an Human-Electric Hybrid vehicle.

• Vice - Captain for EcoKart National competition to build all electric high speed kart.
