More than 18 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Power plant, Petroleum project in various Countries such as UAE, Oman, Congo, Saudi Arabia and India. Familiar with International Industry Codes & Standards for Electrical, Instrumentation, Cathodic Protection and Telecommunication Involved in Quality Control, Construction, Commissioning, Maintenance, Testing and Calibration activities.

Education and Qualification:

B-Tech in Electrical Engineering, RVD University, India.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, RVD University, India.

Industrial training institute (Instrumentation), Government of India.

Cathodic Protection and Pipe Line Corrosion, India.

QA/QC Responsibilities:

Well versant with International Industry Codes & Standards for Electrical and Instrumentation: NEC, NFPA, IEC, NEMA, API, ASI, ASME, PIP, SHELL, ARAMCO, ADCO, TAKREER, ADNOC etc.

Responsible for the implementation of Quality Control System related Electrical & Instrumentation works accordance with project specification and Engineering Standards. As per project QA / QC plan.

Reviewing of Project: QCP, ITP, Method of statements, checklists, and certificates.

Co-ordinate with client QA/QC supervisor and QC Manager.

Initiating Pro-Active Notification to avoid further complication or Violations.

Reporting to QC Manager in daily basis to update & expedite any open items for every field of discipline.

Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out expediently.

Monitoring of all construction activities to ensure that adequate supervision and conducted with respect to project specifications, Approved drawings and Procedures.

Ensure the work executing team and following the Electrical safety rules and conversant with the project HSE plan.

Issued NCRs and implemented the corrective actions in conformance with the client’s standards & specifications.

Site Inspection:(Electrical & Cathodic Protection)

Inspection of Electrical equipment such as switchgear, switchboard, MCC panel, transformer, Medium / low voltage motors, electrical panel / boards and Mechanical completion of Electrical system.

Review of engineering drawings including Electrical Equipment Drawing, Cable & JB Schedules, Cable Routing Layouts, Interconnection Diagrams, Single line Diagram & Data Sheet.

Inspection for installation & Motor Testing (Solo Run, Winding Resistance Test, Bump Test, Polarization Test & Motor control panels)

Material receiving Inspection for Electrical Panels, Motors, Transformers (Dry / Oil), Cables (MV/LV/Control/Heat Tracing (MI), Equipment’s, JB’s.

Inspection for lighting fixture installation and termination for lighting fixture and check all lighting circuits related to panel schedule.

Inspection of cable trench, duck bank, installation of cable tray, conduits and lying of cables.

Inspection for the Hi-Pot test, Insulation Resistance test, Splicing and final termination of MV and LV cables.

Inspection of Earthing activity for Grounding Rod, laying main ring complete with Cad welding branches, Compression connection to equipment and measuring the main ring though test well as per Engineering specification.

Inspection of Cathodic Protection Reference Electrode / Potential Test Coupon, Mg & Sacrificial anode installation, Thermite welding of conductor, Deep well impressed current anodes, positive and negative bonding for underground piping, Transformer-Rectifier, Junction Box and Monitoring facilities.

Cathodic Protection monthly monitoring of the Pipe line and submit the Client review.

Inspection for Installation & Pre-commissioning of UPS system and Battery Charger.

Site Inspection:(Instrumentation & Telecommunication)

Review of engineering drawings including Instrument Location Plans, P&ID, Cable & JB Schedules, Cable Routing Layouts, Instrument Installation Details, Process / Pneumatic Hook-Ups, Interconnection Diagrams, Fieldbus Segment Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams & Instrument Data Sheet.

Inspection for Installation, Pre-Commissioning and calibration of Field bus, Smart, electronic and pneumatic measuring instruments like Pressure, Level, Flow and Temperature, etc.

Inspection for Installation & Pre-commissioning of PAGA system, Telecom system, CCTV system, Fiber Optic Cable, which includes Splicing, Power meter source and Optical Time Domain Reflecto meter (OTDR) Test.

Inspection for Installation and Pre-commissioning of Fire & Gas Detectors, VESDA & Alarm Device.

Inspection for Installation of Field mounted Instruments, Cable IR test, Cable Tray, Cable Trench, Junction Boxes, Local Panels, Pneumatic Air Line Tubing / Impulse line tubing.

Inspection for Instrument Loop Check.

Inspection of cable trench, duck bank, installation of cable tray, conduits and lying of cables.

Inspection for Installation & Leak test of Control Valve, PRV, PSV & VRV.

Inspection for Installation & Testing of Vibration sensor.

Vendor inspection of Simulation & Verification of DCS, IPS, ESD, SGS and F&G system, Perform FAT & SAT.

Review and Handover QC Dossier documents.

Construction & Pre-Commissioning: (Instrumentation)

Responsible for ensuring all construction works in accordance with the company engineering standards, specification, procedures, inspection and test plans, method of statements, drawings and other applicable international codes & standards.

Preparation of Instrument mounting typical and Material Take-off list (MTO).

Supervise the Installation of Instrument’s Transmitter, Control Valve, Cable Tray, Cable laying, Glanding & Termination, Cable Trench, Duct bank, Conduit, Fire & Gas Devices, Telecommunication Devices, Impulse tube, Pneumatic line leak test, FOC cable laying & Splicing.

Review the Instrument Loop packages and perform Instrument Loop check.

Ensuring contractual requirements are met during the construction phase.

Initiate Hot / Cold work permits and complimentary permits for to be performed.

Supervises the activities of the Instrument Supervisor/Technicians according to the Site procedures & requirements.

Supervise the contractor and sub-contractor to ensure contractor performs all work to agreed standards for safety, health and environment and to attaining high levels of HSE performance

Supervised the ongoing Request for Inspection (RFI) status for every field of discipline.

Co-ordinate the Mechanical completion process & punches list closing process.
