Human Resources
Tracking attendance through reports from the door plant manager Umesh Gala. Transferring that data to spreadsheets to document each employee’s attendance.
Helping the employees with questions about time and attendance.
Tracking the start and end times of each employee.
Updating spreadsheets as new hires arrive and employees leave the company.
Directing employees to the proper staff member to better help them with questions and answers they may be seeking.
Ensuring that the supervisors are aware of attendance issues or concerns.
Notifying the employees of changes in schedules as well of scheduled meetings and events given by the supervisors, or upper management.
Ensuring that paychecks are picked up by managers, sorting those paychecks by department, passing out those checks in the absence of management.

DMRs
I have to do DMRs on scrap metal that is compiled on a cart in the prep area.
First, I have to go out count and measure scrap railing,
Relay that data on to a spreadsheet and them create the dmr in the as400.
I then print and deliver these DMRs to the quality manager.
When I am done the railing is then cut up by one of the saw operators and place into a Gaylord for the DMR material.
Purchasing
Supervisors will request items that are not currently kept in the warehouse.
I will have to research the requested item, then prepare a requisition, have the supervisor sign and then send it to purchasing.
I track all purchasing request received and sent out.
I deliver those items received from the warehouse, to the person whom requested it.
I also have to order office supplies as needed.
Storage Items and PPE
I keep a running inventory of the storage cabinet and PPE cabinet, ordering as need materials from the warehouse.
I pass out PPE as requesting documenting who and what ppe they are receiving.
I also keep the first aid cabinet stocked.
I will sometimes have to attend to first aid injuries as they occur
Notifying proper personnel and documenting afterwards.
Reports are done and a documentation spreadsheet is kept and sent weekly over to Heather Bleau.
Kit building
Some Kits are required to be built; those orders are given to me by the UPS team.
I will build, package and take those kits to the UPS area to be shipped as dictated by the work order.
Scheduling and Order Processing
Work orders are process in the AS400, I take those orders and print them out by completion date.
I put together the packets for the supervisors to take to the floor to have production begin the process of prepping the orders to be built.
I enter the completed work orders on to a spreadsheet that will help the production team track the work orders that are left to be produced.
Other duties assigned.
Answering call from other areas of the plant as well as from outside the plant.
I am attending to the questions and request of employees on a daily basis.
Answering emails and sending some orders done by prep to the UPS area to be shipped as required by the work order.
