Illustration of drawings for patent attorneys or inventors. These drawings are required by the USPTO with all patent submissions – both design and utility patents. The USPTO has drawing standards which must be met before an invention will be accepted. Previously these were illustrated in pen and ink; they are now all illustrated with CAD programs. Until the invention is patented the information is proprietary and a non-disclosure form must be signed and submitted to the respective attorney or the individual inventor. Excellent communication between all parties is required in order to avoid rejection of a patent by the USPTO.
