Resume:

I was born and raised in India and received my B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) in Yr-2007. Upon receiving my degree, I joined BG Group in the Operations department as Process Engineer. BG Group was acquired by Royal Dutch Shell plc in Yr-2015. I’m a IChemE chartered process engineer and over the last 13 years in the upstream & midstream oil & gas industry, I’ve worked in onshore and offshore assets in India, Trinidad & Tobago and Kazakhstan, with varied challenges like 5%+ H2S, pressures up to 550 barg, ambient temperatures <-30 degC and remote offshore logistics. I’ve worked in both office and plant/site locations. My recently completed assignment in KPO Kazakhstan gave me an opportunity to work and deliver in a multi-cultural, non-operated, JV environment (work force from 15+ countries) where I developed skills like delivery through others, stakeholder management and mentoring & coaching local national staff. Also, I worked as TA (Technical Authority) level3. My engineering skills are built on a strong foundation of field operations, brownfield projects, Process Safety and people management. Previously I have worked as Deputy OIM (Offshore installation manager) for Tapti offshore platform in India.

My long term career aspiration is to grow in processing engineering discipline and achieve technical expertise levels of SME, PTE, TA etc. In short term broadening assignments are helpful. Awards & Recognition

- Awarded SRA (Special Recognition Award), in Oct’19, by KPO Kazakhstan, for my contributions towards the asset’s biggest Turnaround

- Team of Tapti offshore platform won the BG Group Operations Excellence award (people’s choice) in Yr- 2015 when I was in-charge of production, operations & maintenance

- Awarded the “Golden Hard Hat” in Q3 2014 by BG Group for extra-ordinary contribution towards safety SKILLS & COMPETENCES ACQUIRED
