Working knowledge of batch related chemical processes in production environment using 500-4000-gallon jacketed reactors with overhead condenser and agitator. Responsible for training new employees. Knowledge of processes include: distillations, fractional distillations, bromination, chlorination, oxidations, reactions, phase separations, temperature control, acid additions involving rates, nitration's, benzene trained, scrubber and absorber system operation, chemical transfers involving pressure nitrogen and pumping, vacuum system, boiler system, hot oil unit.
