I recently noticed your interventional cardiology position and have practiced most recently in Northern Illinois with additional licenses in WI, MN and IA. l have general, interventional and peripheral interventional skillsets. Overall, I am interested in opportunities offered by a medium-large center.

I have been an evidence based interventional and general cardiologist for the past 20 years and for the past 10 years, also actively involved in peripheral arterial disease interventions including atherectomy, tibial-pedal access techniques and with extensive limb salvage experience. My additional interests include echo, TEE, heart failure and dietary approaches to improving cardiac health. A side interest in clinical research the past 15 years has witnessed several publications and late breaking trial press-conferences at SCAI and, though initially generating some attention as “slightly aggressive” in a more conservative practice in the early phases, has received favorable international recognition by the interventional community. This, together with a recently completed book chapter on coronary atherectomy, has re-emphasized the importance of being based at a program with a reasonably robust procedural volume. Within this context, I anticipate continued high success rate for coronary interventions and limb salvage with the excellent track record already achieved at my current practice. I am very interested in an opportunity to pursue my clinical strengths of predominately clinical cardiology focused on patient-centered and team-approach care and hope to be able to fully and optimally utilize my knowledge and skill-set at a program with stable clinical volumes.
