Project name: Hybrid Power Generation by Harnessing both Solar and Wind Energy
Description:
The main aim of this project is to harness both Solar and Wind energy to generate the power and store it in a battery and use the stored energy to power AC and DC load.
We are combining both renewable energy in order to increase the efficiency of power output.
In this project we had designed a boost converter, rectifier and inverter.
The power from the wind is given by the vertical axis wind turbine(savonius type).
The motor used for the wind turbine is a 12v DC motor and a solar panel(10w,17.5v,36 cells)is used.
The purpose of the project is to evolve a reliable, efficient and low cost stand-alone power generation system.
