Administrative Assistant
B a r t ow B u i l ders / 2 0 1 5 - 2020
Starting in high school I worked for the construction business my father opened in 1999. I began as a laborer, learning the trade of a carpenter. Now, when returning home during the summers of college I work in the office as an administrative assistant helping with operational tasks and creating project timelines. I am also a part of the strategic planning team as we determine how and when to scale the business. Some of the projects I am most proud of are creating an estimating system through Microsoft Excel and aiding in the cultivation of a new company culture. Chief Operating Officer / Co-Founder
The Spot / 2 0 1 9 - 2020
The Spot is a company my fellow Entrepreneurship Scholar (Diego Alvarez) and I began working on in the fall of 2019. The Spot is a platform that connects foodies of all backgrounds to a plethora of food trucks, street food vendors, and personal chefs to satisfy their catering needs. We provide all these services in one convenient location. As COO I have been tasked with creating an operational model for our network and also create a vetting process for potential companies. With Diego’s major in computer science and my experience in sales and operations, we have both ventured to launch The Spot by spring of 2021. Sales and Operations Intern
C l i c kMechanic ( U K ) / 2 0 1 9 - 2019
While studying abroad in London, UK last fall, I worked at ClickMechanic as a sales and operations intern. Working in a start-up company I had to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with interaction between all departments on a daily basis. I gained experience with ClickMechanic’s sales presentation working directly with customers and adding them to the network. I was a crucial part of the sales process from start to finish, gaining the ability to complete sales in a timely manner. Within the two- month internship I onboarded 73 mechanics and approved an additional 28 mechanics. Working in a diverse work place, I also became a more globally minded individual working with teammates from South Africa to New Zealand.
Auto-Mechanic Apprentice
Van Horn Automotive Group / 2 0 15 – 2016
As a junior in high school I worked as an automotive technician through an apprenticeship program where I learned the fundamentals of automotive repair and maintenance for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles. I gained new insights on diagnosing repairs with a mechanical mindset that helped develop my problem-solving and critical thinking skills. This apprenticeship instilled the attributes of hard work and attention for detail that I now carry into my future occupations.
