Construction of 225kV S/C Transmission Line from Liberia to Sierra Leone.

Job responsibilities:-

Prepare, participate, review & submit project design documents & coordinate with consultant for approval.

Review, Analyze & make proposals of Soil Investigation Reports to consultant.

Participate & Assist Project manager / Commercial manager in budget planning

Prepare Bill of materials statement & release quantity clearance to various vendors

Monitor Supply Chain management with Project Timeline & determine need for escalation.

Prepare Daily, Weekly, Monthly Progress Reports, Project Schedules

Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with Project manager to set objectives of project.

Ensure that works executed are observing safety, quality plan, specifications & projected timeline

Arrange equipment & perform various testing works such as Geotechnical testing, Foundation testing & End to end commissioning test for Power lines

Mobilization planning for resources & work force

Previous experience

Worked as Site Engineer in Charge for Construction of 400kV Transmission Lines for Ministry of Electricity & Water at the State of Kuwait from February 2016 to December 2017.

Worked as Site Coordinator for Project “Rehabilitation of 1700kM 500kV HVDC Lines at Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa from February 2015 to January 2016.

Worked as Electrical Design Engineer at KNR Engineers India Pvt. Ltd, Chennai a Power substation and Transmission line Design and Detailed engineering services provider from August 2012 to January 2015.

Job responsibilities:-

Prepare SLD, PSLD, Layout diagrams, Power & control cable schedules as per relevant standards.

Prepare Technical specifications, Bid documents for Power system equipment’s & Substations.

Preparation of sizing calculations for Cables, Conductor, Bus bar, Earth mat, CT-PT, Lightning protection as per IS / IEC / IEEE standards.

Preparation of other relevant design documents complying with Local / National standards.

Involved in Technical particular review for major equipments & Project review meetings

Prepare Bill of Materials for project & release purchase order to vendors.
