PROJECT (B.E FINAL YEAR):

TITLE: Intelligent Control of Power Quality Improvement in Grid with Combined Facts Devices

DESCRIPTION:

The objective of project is, to establish the power quality improvement in grid with STATCOM and SSSC.

Power quality refers to characteristics of the power, or specifically the current and voltage, provided to the consumers. This power quality is a major concern for both provides and their consumers.

This project is focus on improving the real power, reactive power, voltage and minimizing the cost. Here, the power quality is improving by using FACTS devices such as STATCOM and SSSC.

IEEE 33 BUS distribution system is considered for the implementation. Model for the STATCOM and SSSC is developed using MATLAB with the help of intelligent Technique.
