Job Responsibilities

Inventory & Logistics Manager is the controlling head for the centralized inventory maintained at Corporate Warehouse. Stock supply to all the branch offices is maintained through the corporate warehouse.

Co-ordinating with Branch Offices

1. To co-ordinate with branch offices for their material requisitions (orders) from time to time & delivering the required no. of units within pre- determined timelines. 2. To co-ordinate with the Admin & Accounts Exec. at branch office to receive the periodic Inventory Reconciliation reports.

Vendor Management & Placing Orders

1. To decide the quantity & type of stock to be ordered from various vendors based upon a compiled order prepared after receiving a requisition from branch offices. 2. To maintain the database of vendors for couriers services & transportation services for incoming & outgoing stock.

3. To assess the performance of the vendors, based on various criteria such as cost, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc. & handling the processing of orders. 4. To coordinate with vendors relating to PO’s & Payments & making Contracts/ Agreements/Payments of vendors.

Warehouse organization, layout and capacity management 1. To supervise and review the daily organization and operation of the warehouse, ensuring that the warehouse is fully capable and functional in its layout and capacity to adequately support the material needs of maintenance and operations. 2. To oversee warehouse security through continuous monitoring of the security program, frequent review of physical security measures, and recommends modifications to the program as required.

3. To ensure that materials in the warehouse are stored properly, inspected and cared for through general material handling and warehousing principles. 4. To monitor obsolete and non-moving materials to identify and recommend items for disposition.

5. To Measure, track and monitor all assigned Storeroom KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).

Receipt of Incoming Materials

To supervise the receipt of incoming material shipments, verifying that appropriate receipt and Quality Control (QC) inspections are completed in a timely manner, and appropriate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) transactions are made to complete the receiving process.

Maintaining Stock Levels

1. To decide & maintain the most appropriate stock levels considering the past requisition trends.

2. To ensure proper compliance to various stock levels that have been decided. Shipping/ Moving of Material

1. To supervise the packaging and completion of required documentation to support shipping of materials to branch offices.

2. To ensure proper planning and scheduling of delivery vehicles to minimize costs, and to ensure that it will reach on time. Also clearance of transporter / courier agency bills and payment of the same.

3. To monitor the route permits use in movement of material, record keeping and reconciliation of the same for smooth functioning in operation. Reconciliation & Audit

1. To ensure physical verification and reconciliation of material on a monthly basis to curb on under stocking and overstocking of material.

2. To send reconciliation reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. 3. To manage Quarterly Audits conducted by external and internal auditors. Maintaining InNetsuite software System

To supervise all operations in the Netsuite to ensure proper entry of each transaction representing receipt, issue, movement, shipment and handling of materials. Work Experience
