Providing pre operative testing and education to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction thorough our ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) program. Maintaining patient database to follow patient outcomes. Developing, evaluating and improving protocols and procedures by working with surgical teams through the entire surgical experience: pre operatively to discharge and home care.

Preforming procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, nail injury repairs, orthopedic fracture care and joint reductions. Management of EC observation unit patients. I was also on a team involved with

management in working to improve process of moving of patients to appropriate areas and improvement of door to provider time. I also was involved in developing, implementing and recruiting physicians in our emergency center Gold Card program. This program allows emergency center providers the ability to offer patients an appointment with a primary care or specialist provider as an outpatient in 24-48 hour time period helping to decrease admissions for stable patients.
