QUALIFICATIONS/LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
Cannon Pharmacy:
At Cannon Pharmacy during various roles I was expected to be a part of the leadership team. During my time as a cashier I would help train new employees. Once I became a technician, I was the lead on daily staff. I was required to contact doctors’ offices and patients to follow up with their current medications and if they were requesting any refills. As the Sync Technician, I managed on average 600 patients and their monthly medications. I worked to get their medications filled on the same day each month or every three months. I was responsible for communication with patients, insurance companies, doctors, and the pharmacist. This required significant leadership quantities and was a position that is still held to a high standard.
Walgreens:
At Walgreens I was in the training process of earning the “Senior Tech” title. I left before earning this but was still expected to lead the team to success each shift. I was often the tech required to receive and place the order along with making sure each tech position was filled for the day.
NHRMC:
At NHRMC I have been involved in many leadership roles. As a PRN technician I still took the initiative to be involved in multiple projects. Some examples are as follows: receiving and caring for leeches, Narc Vault Inventory, Crash Cart Roll-Out and helping with the 6th floor pyxis optimization.
As a Tech I and Tech III Specialist, I have taken part of training new technicians, working with CFCC NHRMC Track Students, working with staff to make schedule adjustments as needed, and training Pharmacist on Pyxis.
