DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF FORMULA STUDENT RACE CAR:

The aim of the project is to design and manufacture a formula style race car which is safe, reliable and can clear all the technical as well as dynamic events in the SUPRA SAE INDIA competition organized by SAE( Society of Automotive Engineers).

2016 season: It was our debut season and we secured ALL INDIA RANK 34.

2017 season: Cleared all static and dynamic tests and entered the final endurance round. Our team secured ALL INDIA RANK 11 out of 126 teams who participated and are RANK 1 in Chennai. Was the Vice-Captain of the team and head of brakes department.

2018 season: Cleared all static and dynamic tests and entered the final endurance round. Our team secured ALL INDIA RANK 12 out of 125 teams who participated and are RANK 1 in Chennai. Was the Captain of the team and head of brakes department and suspension design.

DESIGN AND FRABRICATION OF MULTI FUNCTIONAL AGRO-GANTRY MACHINE ( Final year project).

The aim of this project was to design and fabricate a cheap and modular agricultural machine capable of doing multiple agricultural operations ( sowing,tilling, spraying water and fertilizers etc). This project offers a cheaper alternative to tractors and combines for financially constrained farmers.Got selected as the “ best final year project” in IET project challenge 2018.

Project was one of the 24 teams ( out of 1000 entries all over India) to be shortlisted for Carbon Zero Challenge 2019 organized by IIT Madras. DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF BRAKE BALANCE BAR( BE 6

The aim of the project is to design and fabricate a brake balance bar which allows

“biasing” of the front and rear brake circuits. The balance bar distributes the pedal force between two master cylinders such that the front master cylinder receives more force compared to the rear master cylinder. This enables the front brakes to cope up with the dynamic weight transfer during braking.

DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF ZERO CURRENT MOSQUITO REPELLENT:

The aim of the project is to design and manufacture an Electric Fan that has an integrated mosquito repellent liquid . This is done so as to reuse the heat dissipated by the fan and in turn use it to heat and diffuse the mosquito repellent liquid. Secured second prize in the competition “VISAI 2017” held at Vel Tech University, Avadi, Chennai. AREA OF INTEREST
