Job Description: Information Technology Support (Service Desk Analyst).
Ensuring availability and use of all Operational support systems (OSS) within the governing SLAs by:
Ensuring successful implementation of all operational support systems;
Provide access to OSS users;
Assist evaluation of user needs and system functionality;
Perform scheduling of upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;
Evaluating change requests;
Installing of new systems and default applications and backup
Ensuring the smooth running of all OSS applications such as office 365
Assist in providing secure access to the network for all users;
Providing the security of data from internal and external attack;
Providing users with appropriate support and advice;
Providing users with appropriate support for various features on office 365 such as Teams, outlook, Office Applicaions;
Carry out schedule preventive maintenance on systems.
Monitor the usage of all printers’ cartridges / toners, inclusive all other kits attached to it and provide report.
Ensure that all laptops and inventory delivered are properly checked and in line with the requirement as ordered for.
Perform Customer Management within the governing SLAs through:
Ensuring availability of customer-facing applications i.e. Vista, office 365 etc.;
Work with the rest of the team to identify new areas for problem prevention and continual improvement
1st Level IT support - troubleshooting during crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
Follow proper escalation procedures for incidents that are not first line support issues
Improve efficiencies - job throughput, resolution times, service improvements and process improvements
Management Reporting:
Produce monthly management reports on SDP performance
Produce reports on SLA performance
Highlight any risks and issues and ensure implementation of mitigating action
SLA Management
Maintain and update Internal and External SLAs.
Maintain relationship with third party service providers.
