To whom it may concern,
My name is Ashley Undie and I am interested in an opportunity to obtain a position to be a Nurse Practitioner with your organization. As a New Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Nurse, I have rotated through a variety of clinical settings and acquired an appreciation of what it takes to be an exceptional provider. From my observation and experience, I have discerned that, in addition to having effective cognitive skills, a mid-level provider must also exercise compassion and patience, as well as the ability to problem-solve in non-routine situations. Nursing in my opinion, equates to caring; it takes a lot of love, patience and kindness to be a nurse. I am a naturally kind and conscientious person, and I believed a career in nursing would offer me an opportunity to provide compassionate care to my patients. I can truly say I have chosen the best career. With that said, I am truly ready to have the opportunity to embark on this journey with your prestigious organization. The skills and information I have acquired throughout my clinical experience further support and validate my desire for this position.
As you can infer from my enclosed resume, I recently graduated from the accredited and exceptional graduate nursing program at The University of Texas Health Science Center. My nursing background consists of Medical-Surgical Nursing and Psychiatric-Behavioral Health Nursing. During my three year tenure in nursing, I have acquired a variety of talents, knowledge, and interpersonal skills. Through my experience in group activities and research projects in both the classroom and clinical setting, I have developed the necessary skills expected of a Nurse Practitioner. Such attributes include, independent patient care skills, critical thinking knowledge, interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and interdisciplinary communication. I have also been able to further build my compassionate character by performing ethically and working with peers and patients from other cultural backgrounds.
I would appreciate to be given the opportunity to further discuss my interest and qualifications regarding the opportunity to become part of your company. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 678-***-**** or *************@*****.***. Again, I would like to thank you for this wonderful opportunity and for considering my credentials for this position. I can promise that you will not be disappointed in my work ethic.
Sincerely,
Ashley Undie MSN, APRN, NP-C
