I have more than 30 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, petrochemical industry, and municipal water and wastewater industries. My responsibilities include interfacing with client engineering, operations and construction for cost estimating, design engineering, procurement, shutdown planning, installation and start-up. I have significant experience with providing engineering and startup support in construction environments, and on-site offshore. My responsibilities include mechanical design, multidiscipline technical coordination, cost estimating, scheduling, and control of engineering activities for equipment sizing and selection, equipment layout, preparation of bid specifications, and compilation of vendor data, operation and start-up manuals, and shutdown coordination to meet client goals.

My duties include coordinating design projects as a project manager, multidiscipline technical lead, and mechanical engineering lead having teams as large as over 30 engineers and design drafting personnel focusing on quality, safety, schedule and costs for major new construction, expansions, debottlenecking and repairs. This includes creating and tracking project resource plans, total installed cost, and schedule.
I have detailed design and lead experience for design, procurement and installation of production and utilities equipment including pump and drivers, heat exchangers, chemical supply systems, power generation utilities, piping, separators, oil treaters, reverse osmosis equipment, firewater systems, instrument air and nitrogen systems, produced water treating systems, de-oxygenation systems, sulfate removal systems and living quarters.
My duties include cost estimating, design, procurement, shutdown planning and coordination, interfacing with operations and the construction team for implementation, and field construction support during installation.
I have experience with leading many debottleneck efforts to increase production and utility systems throughput.
My experience includes leading the commissioning effort on major new build platforms and expansions. Duties include writing and implementing test procedures for the utilities systems, production systems, and many of the mechanical and instrumentation systems on production platforms. This include supervising a commissioning crew which assists with testing and performing repairs of malfunctions found during testing. This require working closely operations personnel.
