● Developed a reliable method to help predict the amount of treatment needed and cost of treatment based on several self-identified factors. This worksheet was integral in monthly ordering and budgeting.

● Developed a VBA program that took inputs from several plant operators, that was stored on a server where file locations were changed on a monthly basis. The program would then take all the appropriate data and analyze it determine daily plant operations. This had all been previously done by hand and would take one engineer half a day and the plant would have to react quickly to the data. The new sheet could do the same work in minutes thus giving the site ample time to react.

● Researched a biologically friendly way to reduce ammonia concentration in wastewater, where treatment options were limited by budget and laws.. The waste product from that treatment could then be used as fertilizer.

● Had to learn laws and regulations regarding the Clean Air Act at a rapid pace. Was then able to take that knowledge and perform a site audit. The findings of that audit prevented very high fines and the possible closure of the plant.

● Worked closely with The Chemours at their Pascagoula, MS site.

● Completely ran the air side of the Pascagoula site which included the only hazardous waste incinerator in the state of Mississippi.

● Became a subject matter expert on the only hazardous waste incinerator in the state of Mississippi and was able to catch very crucial mistakes in its operation preventing the loss of the site’s right to operate that equipment.

● Developed a new refrigeration plan in preparation for the changing laws.

● Discussed fine negotiations over findings and was successfully able to argue many down.

● Developed a program that gathered CEMS data and analyzed it against site’s regulatory requirements to determine compliance. This process, by hand, can take up to 90 hours of work time. The use of the program cut it down to 10 hours.
