Overall responsible for the coordination of services for the Special Needs population at both the Center and the services provided at Jackson Health PPEC. Oversee, develop recruitment of therapist, employee training, organizational design. Contract negotiations to meet procurement regulations and compliance. Collaborate with Health care agencies to meet the goals of the patients and employees. Create partnerships to serve as a teaching site with Universities or Health Care organizations. Implement and train employees on State regulations, compliance and Companies infrastructure. Oversee and monitor client assessments; plan of care; outside resources; submission to EQ Health for review and approval. Monitor and track compliance by Medicaid; Participate in outreach events; participate in Educational and Community events. Responsible for recruitment, policy implementation; invoice; and work with Procurement in the auditing portion of the billing.

Responsible for the overall operation of the Learning Center which consist on the fiscal operation, classroom supervision, and all programmatic functions. Open the first operation in 2008 and implemented every aspect of the program from recruitment, marketing, Human Resources implementation (Staff Handbook, Parent Handbook); manage Government Contracts. Operated a budget of over 1.5 Million and managed over 48 Employees.

August 2012 – December 2014 Co-Publisher of Unique Me Magazine Responsible for the overall publication of the magazine – a magazine to raised awareness to the Special Needs community; this grass-root project was established to meet the needs of the Miami-Dade Community. As the co-publisher of the magazine, responsibilities included article selections, selling ads; working with the graphic designer; marketing the magazine thru Media outlets; Radio & TV; responsible for the distribution of the magazine. August, 2006 – December, 2008 Adult & Career Technical Education – M-DCPS Responsible for providing training, evaluations, and oversight for the Adult Education & Vocational Rehabilitation Grant program. Oversee the overall operation of the program; determine appropriate curriculum for the Career Centers – One Stop Centers. Teacher training on the Curriculum implementation, Vocational Evaluations, Job Placement; assist in the Grant deliverables for the State. Work collaboratively to identify the Career Centers; needs of the program; and objectives of the program.

October, 1999 – August, 2006 Educational Specialist - Miami-Dade County Public Schools Responsible for the management of the Adult Basic Education programs, which consist of the school system, the community college and several community-based organizations in Miami-Dade County. Duties included grant writing, administration of federal, state, and local grants totaling over $4,000,000 yearly. Development and implementation of Programs County-wide to provide assistance to the adult population. Attendance and preparation of monthly meetings, conferences and workshops. Preparation of Board items, creation of budgets and program structures, conduct program audits to ensure accountability of programs. Other duties include marketing of the adult education programs through the use of media outlets to include culturally diverse populations. Also responsible for directing and coordinating educational, administrative, and counseling activities to ensure conformance to state and school board standards; developing and coordinating educational programs through meetings with staff, and review of teachers’ activities, and issuance of directives.

March, 2004 – March, 2005 Special Project Administrator -Miami-Dade County Responsible for the management and implementation of the Revenue Maximization Act. And grants coordination unit. Duties include the implementation plan of Rev Max to assist countywide departments evaluate leveraging activities between departments, outside agencies to enhance funding opportunities. Attendance and preparation of Community-Based Organizations (CBO) meetings, conferences and grant related workshops. Preparation of resolution items for the County Commissioners, recommendation of budgetary and programmatic structures, coordination of financial audits, outside consultants, and intergovernmental related issues.
