Duties and Responsibilities handled as a QA/QC Engineer
Plan, coordinate and direct quality program designed to ensure consistency with established standards.
Plan, identify and build the site quality team to support project construction objectives.
Lead and supervise team of QC Inspectors and monitor all quality related activities of contractor ad perform regularly controls that requirements are fulfilled.
Establish site specific strategies for surveillance, non-conformance, weld repair, NDE back log reporting, audit and improvement.
Apply proactive approach to continual improvement including lesson learned, performance monitoring and customer satisfaction.
Deploy adequate resources to support mechanical completion, pre commissioning and commissioning activities.
Ensure Integrity Assessment duties including inspections, observation and reporting are undertaken fully onsite and offsite and subsequent issuance of MCC and RFC.
Coordinating to ensure Inspection / testing Plan (ITP), FAT of materials including long lead items, requirements are compiled with.
Supervise TPI coordinator for getting the CVs from the TPI for the each category, and getting Approval by Client, Coordination of inspection requirements at vendor premises and optimizing the number of visit to restrict to budget figure.
Convene Pre-inspection meeting with TPI and vendors and establish the approved quality plan.

Ensure the Pipes, Fittings, Valves, Gaskets, bolts & nuts materials are receive -inspected as per the Inspection and Test Plan.
Submitting the inspection requests to the client for various inspection activities in accordance with the approved inspection and test plan.
Ensure Dimensional stability to IFC drawing, Materials spec, heat numbers, mechanical properties to drawing and material test certificate.
Inspection of location, type, alignment and dimensions of pipe supports as per support list and drawings.
Verification of gaskets bolts and nuts and witnessing bolt-torqueing of flanged joints.
Line checking and preparation of punch lists.
Witness pressure testing activities such as hydro, pneumatic, leak, service tests etc.
Execute internal and external inspections of piping, static equipment’s, tanks and NDE in accordance with PDO standards.
(Name plate, Foundation, Supports, Insulation, Painting, Shell, Head, Nozzles, Weld joints, Internals, Tubes, Connected pipes, Studs & Nuts, Man ways, Flange faces)
Conduct pre-cleaning & post-cleaning visual inspection for assigned equipment.
Issue field instructions to maintenance to provide enough access, lighting, etc. to conduct the inspection.
Review & approve repair scope if required and hydro test witnessing as per client’s requirements.
Track/follow-up inspection requirement and recommendation with maintenance.
Issue final Inspection report, Daily log-sheet supported by Photos & NDT results.
Witness the testing of relief valve and hydro testing of piping and static equipment.
Line up all UT, PT and MFL crew for scheduled and ad-hoc inspection.
Involved in alteration and repair welding process of piping and equipment’s.
Review and approve ultrasonic testing, magnetic field inspection, dye penetrates performed on all static equipment and associated piping.
