I have worked for Canadian Plains, formerly Carson's Welding since 2006, for the last 2 years, I have been a contractor. I own my own truck and welder and am willing to work a either a contractor or as an employee. I am up to date and in good standing with all required insurances.

WELDER 01/2006 to Current

Canadian Plains formerly Carson's Welding - Alida, SK Maximized shop organization and equipment length by efficiently cleaning floor and machinery. Sustained safety protocols and ensured proper, cost-effective and accurate handling of equipment and materials. Monitored the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid overheating parts, warping, shrinking, distortion and expansion of materials.

Laid out, fitted and fabricated metal components.

Improved project completion time by multitasking on heavy equipment such as forklifts. Combined welding techniques, knowledge of metallurgy and engineering requirements to produce quality work.
