Dear Hiring Manager,
I would like to express my interest in a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position and pursue the opportunity to apply my expertise in the industry. I am confident that my experience aligns with your needs and requirements.
My previous position came with many responsibilities that I believe will help me excel in your company. Much of my daily responsibilities revolved around interacting with clients and making them feel comfortable. Building rapport and making lasting relationships was a top priority. I knew most of my clients by name which makes for a friendly and welcoming environment.
I excel in organization and scheduling as well as client correspondence. I spent a lot of time at the company responding to emails and phone calls to clients, manufactures, and suppliers. I believe that being able to communicate in a clear, concise, articulate, and friendly manner is a necessary skill that I have fine-tuned over the years.
I am experienced in a fast paced, high volume work environment. I am easily able to multitask while assisting clients and/or performing any other tasks that must be accomplished. My attention to detail assures that my duties will be done accurately and completed in a timely manner.
I am responsible, reliable, punctual, and a self starter. I am also a loyal employee; I was with my last company for almost 5 years but was unfortunately laid off due to the COVID crisis. I am choosing to view this challenge as an opportunity for a fresh start in a new and rewarding position.
