Built a Power BI dashboard for the QA team to visualize progress of the next website release and connected it to JIRA and QAComplete’s API to display real-time data in forms such as a burndown chart. I reduced the manual workload of the team by 3~4 hours per week. (Power BI, DAX, M)
Analyzed customer email loss in the database. After examining multiple points in our system architecture, located the error and presented the findings to resolve the issue. (SQL)
Lead the initiative to onboard a chatbot vendor to enhance user experience. After analyzing the current website architecture and conducting market research on factors such as cost and integration, I presented my recommendations.
Beta-tested the new CHANEL app and created JIRA tickets for bugs.
Udemy – Business Analyst Intern (San Francisco)

Worked as an analyst for a campus consulting organization to assist our client with market entry of their new product. Primarily conducted market research on competitors and used methods such as K-means clustering and factor analysis on SPSS to find the optimal target segmentation.
PROJECTS
Image Classification - Independent
Constructed a deep neural network to classify images of sports matches to their respective categories.
Trained the model with data downloaded via Flickr API and optimized it using different layer types, activation functions, and node counts. Using cross-validation to test, I was able to achieve 89% accuracy. (Python, Keras, Tensor-Flow)
Twitter Sentiment Analysis - Independent
Analyzed President Trump’s tweet sentiment using the Vader Lexicon. For example, tweets about Fox News were typically much more positive than New York Times or CNN. (Python)
Analyzed keywords, tweet distribution by time, etc. that were likely to gather likes, comments and retweets to find patterns.
Feature Engineering and Modeling Taxi Rides
Used a public taxi data to build a multiple linear regression model with 20+ regressors to predict ride duration of taxis in Manhattan (Python, Scikit-learn)
