MAJOR RESEARCH INTEREST
My major interest is to increase crop productivity per unit area. Crop productivity per unit area is very low in most of the areas in world due to biotic and abiotic stresses. Especially in Pakistan low production is a serious problem. The remedial strategies include improving crop physiology by exogenous applications of plant growth regulators to induce resistance against abiotic stresses. Using nutrient management strategies and consideration of organic matter in plant nutrition and its effect on plant growth. Verities development and screening of more stress resistant varieties. Studying the effect of environment on plant growth and yield. To study the effect of biotic stresses and their remedial strategies to overcome insects and pathogens problems. Effect of Allelo-chemicals on plant growth and crop productivity. High yielding Cultivation and Management under Drought stress as well as normal Condition.

ACADEMIC RESEARCH WORK
I am currently working on a trial for screening of Maize varieties in Multan. During this project I will work to check the Allelopathic effect of Sorghum crop on Maize plant growth and yield by adopting different Sowing Methods (Drill,Bed,Ridges,Zero drill) also I will check Leaf Area Index and dry and wet digestion using flame atomic spectrophotometer. Chlorophyll and carotenoids determination using spectrophotometer.
I have worked on a trial pod Experiment “Allometric effect of potassium sulphate (K2so4) on wheat (Triticumaestivum L.) Varieties under water deficit conditions” during which I performed all nutrient and biochemical parameters.
I have also studied and performed various Seed quality tests. Perform experiment in the field using tensiometer and find Water availability. Studied and find Nitrogen fixation in different leguminous crops, including their uses, diversity of species in Pakistan. Perform experiment to control weeds by using herbicides in rice and wheat crops .Detailed study about soil solarization and organic pre-emergent weed management. Perform experiment in Seed sampling by Mechanical divider method, Spoon method, Random cup method, and hand halving method.
Internship
Six Week Internship and Research on Cotton at Cotton Research Institute (CRI) Multan, Pakistan.
During this period I have learnt to find out: Plant Mapping Data, Plant Height Data, Virus Category Identification, Effect of Different Growth Regulator on crop productivity, Different sowing Methods, Fertilizers Applications.
Work Experience
3 year work experience at Red Crescent welfare Society as a management coordinator/advisor planning
1 year experience in Arysta life sciences as Crop production officer.
