Responsible for daily operations including mechanics, drivers, parts ordering, company procedures enforcement, scheduling repairs of trucks/trailers, DOT compliance, mentoring new mechanics/drivers, contributing to the company’s profit margin through cost savings initiatives. In addition, performed diagnostics and repair of all makes and models of after-treatment systems.
Reason for leaving: My departure from the company was not related to work performance as Dancor considered me a high performer who had significantly contributed to the company and I enjoyed the role I was performing. However, after successfully completing my probation period followed by transitioning from an hourly pay scale (including overtime incentives) the projected salaried compensation was not commensurate with both my mechanical skills and my demonstrated management competencies, nor was Dancor able to meet the expected compensation for the foreseeable future. In the end it was determined that it was in the interest of both parties to terminate my employment.
