I have worked at Uniktrans Corp. for 11 years as an Operations Manager. Uniktrans Corp. is an international logistics corporation that specializes in international mail and international packages. I oversaw the growth and changing regulations of the global mailing landscape. Meeting the many global challenges in international shipping with direct and decisive solutions.

OPERATIONS MANAGER, UNIKTRANS CORP.

As an operations manager, I am in charge of all daily warehouse operations and run all aspects of the business. I have to communicate with clients on a daily basis. I’m proficient in excel and have created multiple reports for the CFO to easily review inventory, bill clients accurately, and view savings. My reports reduced paperwork by communicating directly with clients and our employees. I was able to find efficiencies and devise practices to simplify operations and reduce overhead.

During my time as an operations manager, I was the main lead on our biggest client, Banco Santander. I worked with the VP of Banco Santander to setup and manage their monthly bank statements. With my leadership and proposals, we were able to work together and take an operation that was taking approximately 2 to 3 weeks to 3 days. I negotiated and managed their Pitney Bowes contract, managed an inventory of supplies, and setup a security manual.

Responsible for inventory management, supply management, and maintaining the mailing machines.

Negotiated prices for supplies as well as for leases and contracts to Pitney Bowes on our mailing machines.

Manage our drivers and setup efficient routes using google maps and other resources.

In Charge of all the international mail. Managed all the customs forms and learned the postal IMM (international Mailing Manual). Had to adjust to changing postal regulations.

Provide customer service for their varied mailing needs meeting their high demands.

Built computers, a network for our computers and machines, built our company website, and installed and managed our security cameras.

With my changes to the reporting and management systems we have been able to become one of the biggest international mailers in the south east region.
