Internship Project

Title : Standalone Photovoltaic Water Pumping System Using Induction Motor Drive with Reduced Sensors

Abstract:

Our project examines A simple and efficient solar photovoltaic (PV) water pumping system utilizing an induction motor drive(IMD).This proposed system consists of an arrangement of solar panels,boost converter,three phase inverter and three phase motor.The boost converter is used to enhance the power from the Photo Voltaic array and get constant DC output.Then the output from boost converter is given to the induction motor.This method leads to adjust the speed of the motor by control the frequency and amplitude of the stator voltage of induction motor,the ratio of stator voltage to frequency should be kept constant.
