PEM OFFSHORE LIMITED, LEKKI, LAGOS (April 2014 - 2018) Position: Lead QHSE Engineer

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN

PEMOFFSHORE SIMULATION AND INNOVATION CENTRE (POSAIC) Offshore Simulation Centre for Both Azimuthing Stern Drive (ASD), DP Vessels, ECDIS, Engine Room Simulation, Crane Simulators and Rig Simulators. Duties:

HSE Officer

Organizes Tool Box Talk for workers regularly

Conducts HSE Induction for Staffs and Visitors

Ensures that workers are safe while working

Ensure that POSAIC Facility is safe to use.

Ensures that all near misses are reported

Ensure that the best suitable methods and practices are adopted by workers while carrying out their duties

Ensure that workers wears their complete PPE while working and performing their tasks

Encouraging workers by being safety compliance myself.

Represents the company at safety gatherings and prepares reports.

Prepares accident and Incident Report for PEM Offshore Group

Carries out Risk Assessment of entire POSAIC facility quarterly to ensuring hazads are identified, reduced or eliminated to ensuring POSAIC activities are run smoothly devoid of any accident or incident that will tarnish the image and reputation of PEM Offshore Group.

Conduct fire drills to check the preparedness of staff and the entire POSAIC facility to emergency situations

Writes a Non Conformity Report (NCR) to my line manager whenever the sub- contractor deviates from the specified standard by Kongsberg Maritime Specification and follow-up to ensuring that the error is corrected.

Responsible for POSAIC’s Quality Management System (QMS)

Ensuring all staff understands the stipulations of the QMS with respect to their duties and responsibilities

File every document accordingly in line with the Quality records

Prepares POSAIC documentation and arrange them orderly in preparation for Nautical Institute, DNV-GL, Chevron, NIMASA, OGTAN six months audit.
