Controlling / Checking Electrode Storing, Baking, Handling, Issue and proper use on Daily Basis. Checking Welders I.D., WPS copy, Portable Oven, Heating Torch, Thermo chalk etc.

Inspection / Monitoring of Fit-up as per Approved Drawing / Construction Drawing / Isometric Drawing & WPS for Correctness of materials, dimensional accuracy and joint design (root gap, root face, bevel angle, cleaning of weld zone, proper support & arrangement for distortion control etc.

Ensure that the all consumable and non-consumable material used for SS fabrication & welding shall be Storage separated and shall not contaminated.

All flange faces to be protect during stacking of spools and materials at site.

Responsible for job distribution to the contractors & Departmental Workers.

Distributed the job among the fitter groups and close monitoring the daily progress.

According to Material availability Plan to complete the job.

Preparation of Isometric Drawing as per site requirements (regarding modification).

Spool fabrication at shop. Fit up inspection & prepare the report.

Maintain Daily Meeting with planning executives for daily progress and weekly progress review meetings with all staff.

Maintain monthly HSE Meetings with HSE representative and Progress Meetings with staffs, RCM.

Responsible for preservation and contamination due to intermixing of carbon steel with stainless steel, flanges raised protection and pipe ends for damage and valves preservation.

HYDROSTATICANDPNEUMATICTESTING

To attend the hydrostatic and pneumatics testing of pipe spools/ system at site.

Ensuring NDT Clearance of Piping Test Loop before Pressure Test / Leak Test.

Checking of correctness of Test arrangements for Pressure Test / Leak Test.

Review of Calibration Certificates of Pressure Gauges.

Preparation of punch list for the balance activities which are not affecting hydro test completion and clear of punch list and post punch list items.

Witness of RF Pad Testing / Pneumatic Test (If any).

Witness of Air / Water Flushing. Witness of Proper Draining of Water & Air drying.

If repairs or modifications / additions are made after the mechanical clearance or during leak test, the affected piping shall be re-inspected and retested and format - (Jobs carried out on mechanically cleared system / sub system) to be filled and signed accordingly.

Check / ensure completion of outstanding / balance punch points.

SHUTDOWN JOB ACTIVITIES

RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLETION OF THE PRE-PLANNED JOB AT SITE WITHIN A STIPULATED PERIOD AND WITH THE LIMITED RESOURCES AND JUSTIFIED REQUIRED MANPOWER. CLOSE MONITORING & OBSERVATION THE ONGOING JOB TO SAVE TIME, RESOURCES AND NOT PROVIDING UNNECCESSARY OVERTIME TO THE WORKERS.
