Management of medical/minor surgical issues ranging from routine primary care (diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome and hyperlipidemia) to emergent conditions requiring stabilization prior to transport to ED and addressing urgent conditions/minor emergencies in between. Age range from neonate to 90’s.

Physician and Extender Trainer---2010-2017

Responsible for different phases of training of physicians on the computer system itself, EHR, acquainting doctor with policies, procedures and company culture to facilitate success performing duties. Acted as a mentor as well. Travelled to several states to work with new doctors and extenders.

Chart Documentation Reviewer—2007- 2012

Review provider charts for documentation to make sure it meets requirements for the office visit code level chosen. Review for efficiency as well. Development of instruction manual to direct providers how to document concisely and thoroughly to meet code level requirements. Currently charts are reviewed and “graded”. Feedback is given to the provider to improve their documentation practices.

Medical Director-- 7/06 to 7/08 Denbigh Center, Newport News, VA

Supervision of daily operations and staff at center

Administrative duties included scheduling of providers, counseling providers on policy and proper procedure, hiring of ancillary staff, maintaining a collegial atmosphere among staff to ensure timely excellent patient care.
