I am part of the PMC team, supporting the Client (KOC) with all the technical expertise and know-how throughout the process of getting the project from the FEED phase to the construction phase. Review and approve through the IDR (Inter Discipline Review) the contractors FEED/Detail design documentation which involved coordinating with the contractor, other disciplines, construction and the procurement department.

2011 April – 2016 July: AMEC International, Abu-Dhabi, UAE

• April 2011 to July 2016: Lead Piping Engineer, PMC role for ZADCO (Zakum Development Company)

I was part of the PMT (Project Management Team) providing ZADCO with all the technical expertise and know- how throughout the process of getting the project from the conceptual phase to the production phase. The UZ750

Project scope consists of 4 new artificial islands, surface facilities (production, separation, compression, water treatment and disposal, accommodation, helipad, etc.), 239 km of pipelines and 145 ms of subsea cables, Brownfield projects associated to the existing facilities, in order to increase the production to 750 kbpd by 2015 by

an optimum combination of Islands and WHPT’s production.

I am involved in reviewing all piping and layout/stress related documentation from the FEED contractor, supporting the Company/Contractor into the ITT Packages for the EPC phase, including all qualification and clarification i s s u e d by the bidders. I was part of the ITT team for the Temporary Containerized Accommodation for 3 of the artificial islands, part of the Brownfield team, responsible for all the laser surveys, tie-ins, Brownfield works related to piping & layout, piping and valves integrity checks consolidator.

From January 2014 I am also responsible of Coordinating the FAT activities, assuring the interface between Contractor, Vendors, TPI’s and COMPANY, keeping the FAT schedule up-to-date and managing the allocation of people to attend all the FAT’s on the project

From September 2014 the role of Package Engineer was added to my responsibilities, to coordinate all the packages related to a new scope added to the original project (drain pumps, water injection filtration package, chemical injection package, etc.)

From March 2016 the role of Pipeline Consolidator was added to my responsibilities, to close out all the outstanding engineering documents from both Engineering and Construction contractors, as well as from the associated Vendors

Responsible for issuing Stress related Specifications, Critical Line List, marking up P&ID’s with all calculations to be done (C1 criticality lines), supervising and checking the activity of other stress engineers, as well as reviewing the SDRS (Seller Document Requirements Schedule) for Spring Support, Struts and Piping Hangers to the designated vendor and calculating stress systems.
