Responsible for carrying out field survey work for geodetic surveys, topographical surveys, buried utilities mapping, settlement monitoring, well staking and GIS data collection. Checking the contractor’s drawings and site operations in relation to required survey checks and reviews. Reviewing, understanding and implementing on site the current QCS (Qatar Construction Specification) requirements. Responsible for attending requests for inspection for all survey and setting out based work on a daily basis, ensuring that all works are validated on site. Have high level of working knowledge and experience in order to advise on surveying and mapping issues. Provide technical guidance for in-house and outsourced projects to ensure survey methodologies and procedures proposed are fit for purpose and will produce accurate and relevant data. Preparing daily project reports (written and photographic) on progress of the works for survey related matters.
