Role: Presently working as a “ELECTRICAL SITE ENGINEER” in BIN ARBAID GROUP, AL KHOR, Qatar. (December 2019 - Present)

Work Description:

Responsible for the following of an H&S/Quality Plan identifying the procedures and verifications criteria, controlling the contract prime activities.

• Preparation & taking the approvals, implementation and coordination Material Submittals, specific work procedures, work instructions, method statements, inspection and test plan, testing and commissioning procedure, etc.

• Control all Material Take-Off of materials and equipment; ensure they are carried out using the latest construction information.

• Daily store, site visit and close monitoring the construction activities on site.

• Inspecting installation of all electric works is carried out in accordance with specifications, Codes & Standards, schedules and drawings.

• Attend co-ordination meetings with client and other contractors.

• Coordinating the project quality activities in engineering procurements, construction, testing, operation, commissioning, data and document control. etc.

• Follow up with consultants/Client & Quality Team for Site Inspections.

• Coordinating with the Client representative for final Inspection, commissioning.

• Review Engineering design drawings, specifications and other technical document submissions and recommend improvements.

• Reviewing shop drawings and As-built, & supervising the draftsman as per consultants/client requirement.

• Reporting back to senior official (Senior Manager) explaining the site scenario.

• Analyzing the complete project particulars with help of engineering Drawings and its Coordination with Special System.

• Solving the conflicts and discrepancies in between Architectural, Mechanical, Civil & Electrical.

Job responsibilities:

Undertaking the detailed engineering, procurement and supervision of the installation of the electrical works for major Residential and Commercial buildings, working within the project budget to achieve the forecast profit.

In-charge with the project work schedule, supervision, monitoring, inspection and coordination of all electrical installation works for systems such as, Power, Lighting, Grounding & Lightning Protection.

Preparation and evaluation of technical submittals, shop drawings and other project related documents for consultants and clients according to required project standards.

Attend project technical, coordination and management meetings.

Ensure that all electrical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specification and work schedule.

Supervise the installation of electrical containments, MV/LV wires & cables, wiring devices, lighting fixtures, ACB's, MDB's, SMDB's, DB's, KWH-meters, generators, ATS and capacitor banks and all electrical related activities on site.

Prepares as-built electrical plans, O&M Manuals and related documents prior for final turnover to the Consultant/Client.

Prepare design, quantity-take off/costing for bidding projects.

Preparation of the LV electrical design sourcing out and negotiation with suppliers and sub- contractors regarding electrical materials and equipment’s quantity and make technical

/commercial analysis.

Sizing of sub-panel boards, circuit breakers, disconnect switch; cable & cable tray sizing, voltage drop, lighting illumination, grounding protection, lightning protection, etc.

Responsible for designing electrical system such as single line diagram, lighting, power, grounding, cable tray, cable trench, cable schedule, panel board schedule, substation layout and installation details.

Technical Skills:

PLC (Siemens), PLC (Allen Bradley), SCADA, HMi Drives, Switchgear protection.

AutoCAD Electrical and all MEP drawings Works.

Emails and Proper Communication handling skills.

Expert in Microsoft 2007(word, excel, access, power point).

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly preventive maintenance reports.

Analyzing and modify AutoCAD shop drawings with electrical interface. Personality Traits:
