HSE Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordination with the Project Manager & HSE Manager concerning the implementation of the HSE Quality instructions to all personnel

Participating site management meeting with supervisor level and client level

Share the events and alerts with site supervisors all crew persons involved lessons learned from the incident

Conduct daily safety and weekly safety meeting periodically

Prepare JSA & Task Risk Assessment

Execute site policies and procedures to all personnel and Sub Contractors upon arrival on site

Identify and Selection also Monitor as per Client requirements to use and care of PPE and other safety equipment used in the projects, and communicate personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and train the employees to ensure that the PPE requirements are properly implemented and enforced

Checking / Compare / Work permits Auditing v/s site actives, which site activities, are doing as per work permit issued. Ensure proper issuance of work permits prior to start the job

Conduct Incident investigations relating to occupational safety and environmental activities and recommend appropriate corrective actions

Participate in all pre job planning activities for high exposure potential operation

Ensure that safe working practices were adopted for the following activities like: o Rigging -operations, Erection of the pre casting elements and Erection of Equipments,

o Confined Space Entry like, Entry in to Vessel, Entry in to Sumps, Tank Entry o Excavation & Underground work safety precautions, Opening lines for Release

Hazardous Liquids or Gas Freezing, Electrical Safety, Manual handling, Portable Power Tools

Safe Working at height & Scaffolding work Safety Requirements, o Concrete pouring, Blasting operations (Explosive blasting, Abrasive blasting and Spray painting), Welding operations, Gas cutting, Grinding, Batching plant Operations, NDT work activity safety precautions for all pipe lines and etc.,

Trains all HSE Personnel, Security, and other staff in the use of firefighting equipment

Maintenance of the Corrective Action Register for non-compliance items arising from Meetings and inspections

Maintaining a record of all chemicals/ dangerous goods used/ stored at the premises, Material Safety Data Sheets and advice management/ staff of safe handling/ transport & storage practices (HAZCOM)

Attend crew meetings and provide HSE input and feedback

Monitor Tool Box talks conducted at work site and provide materials pertaining to HSE for being discussed in the tool box meeting

Conduct weekly safety meetings to communicate HSE information received from the Management and lessons learned from incidents to the workforce

Conduct HSE training to employees and third-party personnel to ensure competency

Prepare HSE Report at end of the job on daily basis for the information for Client & Company management requirements

Conduct daily work related pre tour HSE meeting with all workers & weekly and monthly HSE meeting with client
