-Designed motor lift table to replace the system in place with the successful completion of the goal of eliminating a dangerous vibration. Reduced cost from $35,000 to $5,000. Designed shaft and rotor press tooling to accomplish the goal of increasing pressing force, size and capabilities. Reduced cost from $11,000 to $5,000.

-Experienced in a Lean Manufacturing environment, participated as a contributor to Kaizen events, led changeover reduction event.

-Planned and executed the unit’s deployment to the Iraqi theatre for OIF III.

-Planned and executed the redeployment of the 81 soldiers and over 60 tons of company equipment to Fort Stewart, Georgia.

11/2001 – 11/2004: Maintenance Platoon Leader: Led 49 soldiers; responsible for the training, logistics, and tactical employment of unit personnel. Responsible for over 45 line items of equipment, including vehicles, tool sets, & generators, totaling over $5M.

-Planned and executed deployment to Kuwait in January of 2003, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

-Led platoon in combat service support missions from 19 March 2003, from the assault across the Kuwait/Iraq border, to the Base Support Area in the Olympic Stadium, Baghdad.
