Designing dimensional tolerances (OD, WT, ID, Length, Straightness, Out of Roundness), steel grades, hydrostatic test pressure and non destructive tests for various specifications

Defining heat treatment, mechanical and metallurgical properties as per specification / customer’s requirement

Prepare 2D and 3D drawings of Drill Pipes, Tubing, Crossover

Releasing Design and Development Plan for production, quality and dispatch activities

Preparing Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Inspection Test Plan (ITP)

Approving sales order from quality point of view

Understanding the requirements of various customers by reviewing purchase order and Technical Delivery Conditions (TDC)

Checking technical feasibility of customer’s requirement

Attending Kick off Meeting (KOM) with customers and Pre Inspection Meeting (PIM) with customers and Third Party Agencies (TPI)

Treating deviations of technical specifications and maintaining records

Planning and implementing strategies for quality management and testing

Alternate grade clearance against defined internal steel grades

Involving in New Product Development (NPD) as a member of Cross Functional Team

(CFT)

Identify Quality Assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement

Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues

Interact with all internal functions like quality, marketing, PPC, logistics, operation

Carrying out technical discussion with international and domestic clients like Petrofac, Proclad, ADNOC, Gerab, PD Oman, Schlumberger, Weatherford, Bharat Forge, VE commercial, Reliance, TOYO, Tema, Kelvion, Thermax etc.
