Was responsible for building infrastructure to process and normalize internal and external vendor data feeds and messaging streams for SMC. SMC is a centralized multi-vendor financial instrument and issuer platform that supports increased product coverage, regulatory and cross-offering requirements across markets and asset classes. Interfaced with different departments within the Citi and Vendors regarding new deployments.

Developed a Real Time Interfaces (RTI) using API Restful calls from Cloud Platform via Web Sphere/zOS Connect/Jason/Web CICS to Mainframe for different Market products, such as Fixed Income, Equities, Options, Money Market, Commercial Papers, Certified Deposit, TRACE eligible and other utilizing MQ Series, CICS, DB2, DB2 Stored Procedures, COBOL, VSAM, JCL, SDLC.

Participated in development/modification of modules for different projects related to OFAC/AML policy. Modules enabled Red Flag these transactions that may involve money laundering and have to be approved/rejected by a designated AML Compliance Officer. Maintained a list of OFAC countries and its new sanctions to apply.

Designed DB2 modules to identify, map and cross reference Alternate IDs for the same product to consolidate them in a DB2 table and create a feed for other Citi businesses. That helped easily identify a corresponding product if there is any production issue.

Designed RTI for Prime Finance/Broker group to provide SMC reference data for securities of interest (SOI) and changes for a new Setup, Delete, Update and Corporate Action events happened in SMC at real time. A daily reconciliation feed was also provided at the end of batch cycle.

Created batch and on-line modules to accommodate Conversion projects for Pershing, Broadridge and Morgan Stanley. For Stock Record migration to Broadridge worked on sourcing that data from other systems to continue support BAU process.

Designed COBOL2/DB2 modules to consolidate holding securities in a separate DB2 table and a flat file for Holders project. This effort significantly reduced the processing time for DB2 calls, improved turnaround time of Ad hoc requests for business partners and was very useful for developing new modules.

Developed CD product descriptions generator modules, which enable users automatically, generate security descriptions at its setup in PRDB system.
