As a member of the managerial team, I am responsible for:
The daily management of employees, through labour management, ensuring sufficient and motivated employees striving towards a common goal of obtaining production targets.
The managing of training and development of employees, to fulfill vacancies.
Recruitment of employees, the conducting of interviews, reference checking and the induction period of new employees.
Managing and co-ordinating internal Industrial disputes, disciplinary cases and grievances.
Representation at Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration.
Daily interaction between Unions and Associations to resolve ad-hoc queries, as well as regular monthly meetings.
Co-ordinating and chairing of meetings on a regular basis between Unions, associations and employees.
The managing and overseeing of Labour Laws and Acts. Management of the Employment Equity programme.
Identifying potential candidates for further training and development to fulfill the equity ratios.
Record keeping of all personal, as well as disciplinary records. PROFILE
I am very hard working and dedicated. I have 34
years of work experience, with 20 years in a
management role, I have good self-confidence,
which makes me self-assured yet humble. I am
eager to learn and no challenge is too big. My
experience is concentrated in Human Resources
with exposure to Microsoft software (Excel &
Word). I am bilingual and can understand and
communicate clearly with my peers. I have high
