SITE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Make sure all relevant specification, documentation(Method statement, Material data sheet, ITP) and drawings are obtain before start of the work

Inspection of Low voltage switchgear panels, cables according to Inspection test plan activity

Inspection of lighting and power conduits according to ITP activity.

Conducting MEGHER testing of cables

Inspection of earth rods & earth pits according to ITP activity

Witness of testing of earth resistance between earth rods and record the values

Inspection and testing of Wiring devices

Conducting inspection of pre functional and functional test of UPS

TESTING & COMMISIONING (TCP) :

Witness the Primary injection & secondary injection testing of relays in panels

According to testing and commissioning procedure

Inspect the decibels testing (85db to 88db) for public address system and check

The coordination with fire alarm due to emergency condition

Inspect and testing the Automatic transfer switch for generator during power failure condition and check the automatic transfer is take place in less than 5 seconds

Testing the UPS by checking N+1 condition, the two of the 160KVA ups is called N+1 condition, during failure of one UPS the other can withstand the full load for 30min

Inspect the testing of telecommunication and distribution system by checking the length of the CAT cable and fiber optic cable. By OTDS tester if it is CAT cable the length should be less than 90 meters, if it is fiber optic the length should be more than 90 meters

Inspect the testing of fire rated MCKEON door for LVS room and checking that the fire rated door should automatically close during emergency condition and prevent the LVS room from fire

Inspect the testing of intelligent door panel for all kind of non fire rated and fire rated door.Intelligent door panel consist of relays for open and closing the door automatically.

Inspect the Megher testing for all kind of cables ranging from 400v to 600v.

Inspect the testing of GROUND POWER UNIT, where GPU is the 400HZ supply for

Aircraft during aircraft is at rest condition.GPU consists of nose pit, PCA pit, fuel exhaust pit.

Inspect the testing of ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM for all doors and the access control system is linked with intelligent door panel.

The testing and commissioning of all these electrical activities is done according to approved T & C procedures given by the consultant. The submission of T & C should include the installation of all electrical activities which means inspection request form should attached during T & C.
