• Lead business development pursuits including preparing RFP packages, creating teams, interfacing with D/B contractors, architects and subcontractors and attending selection interviews.

P2S Engineering Project Participation Highlights: 2014-present
• CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO – INFRASTRUCTURE UTILITY UPGRADES, San Bernardino, CA Contracted by CSUSB to oversee design for $50M of utility infrastructure upgrades. Primarily focused on the $13M Central Plant Upgrade project including converting the campus high temperature heating hot water (350 F) distribution loop to a low temperature (180 F) system including installation of 12 modular condensing boilers. Installation of 1,200-ton centrifugal chiller and 2,000-tons of cooling tower replacement including pumps, piping and side stream filtration system. Included design and construction administrations oversight of direct buried underground hydronic loop extension of chilled and heating hot water mains ~1,500 LF to serve future housing developments.
• CAL STATE FULLERTON– CENTRAL PLANT UPGRADES, Fullerton, CA Contracted by CSUF to oversee design for $10M of Central Plant upgrades over three phases. Installation of two 1,200-ton centrifugal chillers and primary pumps and rearrangement of piping from series to parallel. Installation of 12,000MBH of electric boilers and primary pump replacement to be utilized with the campus heating hot water TES tank during periods of excess solar PV generation. Working with the campus to develop steps toward campus building electrification.
• SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY– CENTRAL PLANT UPGRADES AND SW QUAD HEAT RECOVERY CHILLERS, San Jose, CA Contracted by SJSU to oversee design for $2.5M of Central Plant upgrades including installation of 1,500-ton centrifugal chiller and primary pump and rearrangement of piping from series to parallel. Create bridging documents for $6M heat recovery chiller installations at four buildings in the SW Quad sized to provide fully electric space heating. The project is the largest scale building electrification project for existing buildings within the CSU.
• WEST LA COLLEGE- SATELLITE PLANT AND CENTRAL PLANT UPGRADES, Los Angeles, CA Contracted by West LA College to oversee design for $5M of Central Plant and satellite plant upgrades over two phases. Installation of 150-ton air cooled chiller and 1,600MBH condensing boilers at new Satellite Plant. Installation of new Cooling Tower in parallel, condenser water pump, glycol to chilled water heat exchanger and secondary chilled water pump at the main Central Plant.
• UC RIVERSIDE – STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER, Riverside, CA Contracted by mechanical design build contractor for mechanical design of new 60,000 GSF student center including classrooms, multipurpose rooms, lecture halls, food service and atrium. The building is utilizing underfloor air distribution in the lecture halls and VAV with hydronic reheat throughout the classrooms and atrium, modular scroll heat recovery chillers supplemented by electric boilers for space heating, and chilled water from the campus central plant.
• CAL STATE FULLERTON– MCCARTHY HALL UPGRADES, Fullerton, CA Contracted by architect in D/B project major renovation of second floor laboratory building.
