To Whom It May Concern,
I am interested in finding a job in order to build my resume, gain some experience and earn money for secondary schooling. I am an honest, trustworthy student who is willing to work hard at whatever job I am given. I have had the opportunity to work with people in a variety of ways. I have worked at the school servery, and other food-handling fundraisers, organizing, taking orders, preparing food, restocking and handling money. I have supported the teachers in my church children’s classes by helping to take care of the children ages 2-12. I have taught piano and TaeKwon-Do classes as a substitute teacher, following the plans created and working with up to 25 students at a time. I was a part of multiple groups that worked at the Friendship Inn and the Lighthouse, stocking shelves, serving meals and cleaning up. I have also had the chance to volunteer my time to help out in an animal shelter. I fed and watered the animals, cleaned pens, kennels and cages.
One volunteer opportunity that has a lasting impact on my life was a trip to Cambodia that I went on with my family. I worked with girls that were being trafficked and were given a safe place to live. My job was to play games, make crafts, bring gifts and have fun with them.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Abigail Peters
