Dear Hiring Manager:
Thank you for the opportunity to apply for this position and to briefly share a few details about my experience with you.
After spending over 6 years working in various roles within Human Resources as an HR/Training Coordinator, HR Manager, Employee Relations Consultant and as a Conduct Management Investigator, I am looking to move back into a production supervisor/manager role.
Prior to my time in HR, I spent four years as a Production Supervisor with Hormel Foods, assisting with the start-up of their brand-new facility in Dubuque, IA in 2010. At that location I supervised several different departments on both second shift and first shift. As a production supervisor with Hormel Foods, I continued to develop the leadership skills I learned in the Marine Corps and, as my resume shows, I led multiple departments and projects while fostering a culture of safety and teamwork. I continued this pattern into my HR career.
I believe the additional knowledge I have gained through my HR experience will allow me to be an even better asset, as I can apply not only my production leadership skills, but also my HR skills, such as employee relations, safety management, interviewing/hiring, training and development, and employment law. I can also be an asset by assisting your HR team and team whenever needed.
My front-line leadership experience combined with an understanding of HR best practices has contributed to my ability to deliver exceptional results. As my training, experience and resume demonstrate, I am committed to creating top performing teams and developing and/or improving a workplace culture where employees are engaged, successful, and continuously improve.
Please contact my cell phone at 864-***-**** or email at adfjpo@r.postjobfree.com to set up a meeting.
Sincerely,
Jared Lee
