(now LogicaCMG) staff and has produced quality results with the least amount of supervision. He has also shown the ability to work efficiently even under extreme pressure. Jed was senior project manager for LogicaCMG and was actively supporting pre-sales activities and implementation in the Finance Services of Asia.
Jed joined PayGen in 2004 to provide assistance and consultancy in the implementation of a global payment system. He was involved in the development and business process definition during his initial work at PayGen. Eventually, he became the key player in producing the Information Security Procedures and Policies needed to comply with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security requirement. The combined experience of Jed in Logica and PayGen has given him competency in both Card Present and Card Not Present financial industries.
From PayGen, Jed became part of the sales team of Oracle Philippines providing support for the middleware systems of the company. Jed was then invited by RCG IT to reinforce the project management team of RCG IT. Jed was in charge of the local technical capability for the Java and Microsoft development team.
In 2007, Jed joined SMART Communications as one of the Program Managers for Financial Services group particularly for the International segment of the group. In 2009, Jed was moved to the Program Delivery Integration Department, where he became responsible for the implementation of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM). Since then, Jed has been providing Project Monitoring and Project Reporting for various projects and programs in SMART. Jed was also involved in defining Business Processes while in Technology Program Management Department and Network Portfolio Management Group.
In 2010, Jed’s team was moved to the Project Management Office to help in monitoring projects for the Network and Platforms group using the PPM tool, which also involves producing Project Status Reports for the Project Review Board. Jed moved to the Network group in 2012 and assigned to perform various tasks, such as Network Updates for Board Meetings, Program Management, Budget Management, Process Design and Documentation, and Audit Resolution Tracking. In 2015, Jed was assigned to Head the Reports Management Team of PMO. His responsibilities included weekly project reports summary preparation for Network and IT programs, preparation of monthly rollout report, executive reports, certification preparation for Advertisement Board, support in Audit finding resolution, network inventory reporting, and budget preparation support. Jed was also responsible in conducting training for Project reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Planner, and Mind mapper to support various team requirements. 2

Jed’s team moved to the PMO in November 2015, to
provide support in Project Monitoring and Tracking for Network and Platforms project through the Project and Portfolio Management Tool (COMPASS). Jed is responsible for providing consolidated Project Reporting to the Management. Jed is also tasked to design and implement workflows for proposal and project stage gatekeeping. Jed also provided various trainings on use of Project Tools for the PMO team. Jed also provided valuable inputs on solutions for As-Built Document Requirements, Asset Management and End-to-end project dashboard reporting. In the initial month of joining Technology PMO,
Jed’s team migrated all on-going projects of
Network and Platforms in the Project Management
Tool.
Jed designed and prepared various executive
reports and presentation templates to provide
information on Project Status, Budget, Data
Management and Network Inventory.

Jed was assigned as Program Manager for various SMART, PLDT and SUN projects. Jed was responsible for defining the internal processes and training requirements for the group.

Jed was tasked to lead the selection and installation of the Project and Portfolio Management tool, initially for PDI. The PPM, known to SMART as COMPASS, was eventually used by other groups for Project
Management and Workflow process approval.

in the integration with NLEX’s EasyTrip tag value

Senior Manager, Financial Services Smart Communications, Inc., 2007 – 2010 Jed was responsible for the delivery of key projects in the company in the various industries such as Financial Services and Telecommunications.

Sales Manager Oracle Philippines, 2006
Jed was responsible for the sales coverage of the Oracle Fusion Middleware systems in the Philippines. The sales exposure in Oracle complements Jed’s technical capability making him a well-rounded solution consultant for various industries.
The solution offering includes, portals, security, business intelligence GSK, and SM group
IT Manager PayGen, 2004 - 2006
Jed managed the implementation of the Payment Gateway system for the company from development, testing and installation at the initial stage with PayGen. Jed was then assigned to manage the system hosting as well as the security requirements of the company. Much of the
modifications done to improve the security side of application was based on the recommendations that came out from the policies and procedures that was produced by Jed. The system support team headed by Jed was able to support the requirements of the Operations team with only two people offering 24x7 support.
PayGen’s payment gateway application was obtained
from ProgramDNA. The system was implemented to
accept payments using MasterCard and Visa. It
provided Merchants with a secure and reliable
payment processing system.
Senior Project Manager LogicaCMG, 1995 - 2004
Jed was responsible in the system delivery for a switch replacement in one of the major commercial banks in the Philippines. Jed headed a team of up to 8 people in implementing a system in a tight schedule. Jed’s role was to keep the project within budget and deliver the system on time. The responsibility also required consultation services for the bank system application, hardware and Oracle database requirement.
LogicaCMG’s recommitment to the Finance market
was further enhanced with the implementation of the IST/Switch System for a major bank in the Philippines. This involves migration and installation of ATMs, POS and host interfaces. Additional value-added services such as bill payment, cash card reload and mobile pre- paid reload are expected to attract more customers Bid Manager/Pre-Sales LogicaCMG, 2003
Jed played a key role in winning a competitive bid for a Switch replacement for a commercial bank in the
Philippines. Jed’s presence in the pre-sales and bid activity provided confidence for the client in selecting LogicaCMG as the preferred systems integrator. Jed provided key consultation discussions with the bank in determining the needs for the proposal.
LogicaCMG was awarded by a major commercial bank
in the Philippines. The local presence of LogicaCMG and the experience of the staff in the Finance
business was the big factor in winning the bid
Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support Manager LogicaCMG, 2003 Aside from a project management roles Jed is tasked with assisting in sales opportunities in both the
telecommunications and financial areas for LogicaCMG. This includes bid preparation, pre-sales presentation, and marketing activities. At the same time, Jed is also responsible for managing support and maintenance
activities for existing clients in the Philippines LogicaCMG continues to be involved in opportunities for additional for the RTGS system in the Philippines. LogicaCMG continues to look for opportunities for
billing, CRM, mediation and other telecommunication applications

Technical Manager and Developer Logica, 1991 - 1995 Jed established his skills in software programming and Technical management while in Logica, working as
developer for ATM switch projects in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. Major programming languages used were COBOL, PL1, Pascal, and BASIC.
Logica provided ATM and Branch Banking integration for various banks such as BPI and BDO in the
Philippines, BII, Bank Bali, and Bank Danamon in
Indonesia.

Jed was responsible for the project management and control for the delivery of the SUN E10000 at Globe for the Fraud Management System from Ericsson. Jed was also responsible for designing the customer satisfaction survey for the Business Consulting Services of Sun Phil.
