RESEARCH
Research Interests:
Hypertension
Improving treatment of hypertension.
Hypertension Clinic
Weekly clinic designed to allow prompt follow up to lower blood pressure to current guidelines.
Served as scholarly project advisor to Richard Szczesny, PA-S who posed the research question “Does a focused hypertension clinic strategy reduce blood pressure in uncontrolled hypertensive patients?”. This is original research with IRB approval. Research analyzed BP control in patients who attended Hypertension Clinic from May 1 2018 – May 1 2019. Richard Szczesny completed the scholarly project, and graduated in December 2019.
