Resume:

Project & Design Engineer

I am a glass half full, performance and data driven engineering professional with 9 years of experience in project and design engineering, primarily focused in the automotive industry. I have lead and participated in cross functional teams in a foreign and a domestic setting. I have experience in product launch through PPAP. I’ve been Engineering support to sales teams on site and in the field. I’ve got hands on knowledge and experience in troubleshooting equipment and assembly of plastic injection & rubber transfer molds. I have had success developing, implementing and sustaining LEAN systems driving up efficiency, driving down quality defects, and resulting in substantial cost savings. I have experience with developing flow charts, VSM’s, 5 why’s root cause analysis, standard operating procedures, Time lines, APQP action items, etc. I have worked for one of the largest tool and die shops in the world servicing the automotive industry as an injection mold designer (Mechanical design engineer). I currently work for one of the leading rubber spark plug boot manufacturers in the USA. I’ve had lots of customer contact and am able to meet milestone deadlines while balancing multiple projects simultaneously in high pressure situations. I am looking to find a position in the Atlanta metro area as soon as possible. I hope to find a stable, supportive and positive work home where I can plant long term roots & raise my family around. I can provide references and specific examples of accomplishments upon request. Thank you for your consideration!

Respectfully,

Quinton D. Sleet
